    The auction offers an Antique Sandwich Glass "Roman Rosette" Clear Glass Dish, Boston and Sandwich Glass Co., c. 1830 - 1850. This "Roman Rosette" clear glass dish has a flower petal design to the bottom of this dish. This dish is similar to the one is listed in "A Guide To Sandwich Glass Pressed Tableware," by Barlow and Kaiser, plate # 1109. I offer this early "Roman Rosette" flint glass dish with no reserve and a Buy It Now. SIZE: The Sandwich glass dish measures 3/4" H. x 5 3/8" Dia. CONDITION: The condition is very good with some minor chips, nicks and some minor rim roughness the only excuse. The flint glass bowl does exhibit the manufacturing flaws prevalent in early flint glass. This includes; straw marks, sand and bubbles in the glass, and minor mold imperfections.
