Rare Antique Sandwich Lacy Glass "Princess Medallion + Basket of Flower" Dish​, Boston and Sandwich Glass Company, Sandwich, MA, c. 1830 - 1845. This beautiful shaped dish is a very early Sandwich Glass example in a lacy glass pattern called, "Princess Medallion and Basket of Flowers". This is the base of a covered dish that was manufactured in flint glass around 1830, by the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company. This pattern is illustrated in "A Guide to Sandwich Glass Pressed Tableware" by Barlow and Kaiser, plate #1028. This very early covered glass dish is considered rare and was valued at 00 back in 1989. This beautiful base displays wonderfully alone and is a great hard to find example of early Sandwich lacy glass! This Sandwich lacy glass dish is offered here with no reserve and a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: The dish measures 1 5/8" H. x 8 5/8" W. at the top and 10 5/16" L.. CONDITION: The dish base is in very good condition with some minor chips, nicks and roughness around the edge of the lid. There is also some minor roughness around the rim to the base. There are some bubbles and irregularities to the glass as expected in early American pattern glass.
